PYRFORD COURT: Military airstrip?

Operated by: HQ 20 Guards Brigade

Location: About 1.5nm E of Woking town centre

Period of operation: 1944 at least?

NOTES: Having found a couple of oblique references, I have yet to find hard evidence. But it would seem very strange if such an airstrip did not exist?

If somebody can kindly provide advice, this will be much appreciated.
