SALTASH: Private airstrip
 

NOTES: I met the person in May 2014 who operates this airstrip and he’d much prefer to keep the details private. Which is fine by me. My aim in this 'Guide' when private airstrips are concerned, is mostly to record their existence as they form such a large part of our unique aviation heritage. It is generally reckoned that roughly 550 private airstrips have existed in at least the last thirty years in the UK and they do tend to come and go over time.

This said, since the advent of Google Earth especially, the location of most of these airstrips can be very easily identified.
