Sanderstead Park Estate

SANDERSTEAD PARK ESTATE: Temporary aerodrome

Operated by: Alan Cobham’s 1935 No.2 Tour

Location: Limpsfield Road, Sandersted roughly 1.5nm SE of CROYDON

Period of operation: 31st & 1st September 1935

NOTES: With CROYDON then being a major national and international airport and situated so near I can only wonder what the arrangements were?

Also, I imagine the extent of the estate was much larger in the 1930s?
