SANDWOOD BEACH: Temporary landing site (Aka SANDWOOD BAY)

Location: On the W coast NW of Sandwood Loch, roughly 5nm SSW of Cape Wrath

NOTES: This information comes from AAIB report EW/G2009/06/17 and serves to illustrate, (despite this particular landing going wrong), that beach landing sites in the UK, (very common before 1939), are still being used today.
