Military users: RNAS/RAF   Seaplane Station also Seaplane Repair and Storage Depot
 

Location: NE side of top end of Scapa Bay, on the W side of the A963, now the B9148, about 2nm SSW of Kirkwall

Period of operation: 1914 to 1919
 

NOTES: Apparently temporarily closed after wrecked by a gale in November 1914
