Notes: This map only shows where I think the ELG was. At that time a location like this would have made an ideal site, I suppose. And of course, the development of Scone with nearby housing would have been nothing like it is today, I would imagine.



SCONE PARK: Military Emergency Landing Ground
 

NOTES: By the end of 1940 No.11 EFTS at PERTH/SCONE had ninety Tiger Moths in operation and therefore the ELG (Emergency Landing Ground) at SCONE PARK was established. Are any details about this ELG known today? Any advice will be most welcome.
