Operated by:  Mr Russell Thompson

Location:  About 1.5nm SE of Hutton Cranswick village, 4.5nm SSE of Driffield town centre

Period of operation:  Late 2018 to June 2020?

Landing area:  Roughly E/W about 220m

NOTES:  The initial information came from the report AAIB-26764.

A bit more delving appears to reveal that Mr Thompson acquired the Savannah VG, G-CGTV, in late October 2018 and based it here. However, on the 25th June 2020, when taking off it all went pear-shaped and, looking at a picture of the wreck in the AAIB Bulletin, it seems amazing that he emerged with just minor injuries.

Will this site continue to be used? If not it is certainly a contender for the title of the briefest used locations?
