SEAVILLE: Private microlight strip
Location: In/near Seaville village which is roughly 3nm E of Silloth town centre
Runway: 08/26 180 grass
NOTES: Initial info source, AAIB report EW/G2011/07/29. A good around the area on Google Earth (image date 2011) appears to show no obvious evidence of a prepared strip. Not that one is needed of course.
This said there were a few potential sites, especially one on Seaville Farm (Calvo) with a field that seems to show a second N/S option for landing and taking off. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
