SHADFORTH QUARRY: Drone flying site

NOTES: In July 2017 I was kindly contacted by Mr Neil Smith, who informed me that, weather permitting, on the 17th July between 08.00 and 12.00 he would be flying the Ebbe+RTK Drone from SHADFORTH QUARRY, up to an approximate altitude of 120m (400 feet).

To be very honest, until Neil contacted me, I hadn't considered the prospect of adding drone flying sites to this web-site, despite being keen to add significant historic model flying sites, and popular contemporary model flying sites. Clearly Neil is a serious and responsible 'Drone' operator, and indeed, what is the difference between flying a drone by radio control, and a model aircraft? None!
