SHEPHERDESS WALK: Balloon launching site

Location: This map only gives my rough estimate of the location

NOTES:
This has been something of a task to even try to pin down.

However, it appears that in the mid 18th century a public house, The Shepherd & Shepherdess was built together with pleasure gardens, in the area now known as Hackney. It is claimed, it seems, that this was a popular balloon launching venue although I can find no collaboritive evidence.

Can anybody kindly advise and assist here?
