Private helipad on a Solent fort
Location: In the Solent S to SE of Portsmouth city centre
NOTES: During the Napoleanic wars a small number of defensive forts were built in the eastern approaches of the Solent to safeguard the naval dockyards in Portsmouth. At least one has been sold to provide an exclusive residence and, prehaps needless to say, a helipad is a absolute neccessity. Here is one example.
