Operated by:  Berkshire Aviation Company

Location:  Just N of the A6120, W of the A660, about 4.5nm NW of Leeds city centre

Period of operation:  30th August to 12th September 1928

NOTES:  I can take no credit for this entry. It was found by Mr Michael T Holder.

What I think is very interesting is how long they stayed. Presumably it was worth their while to do so, and typically a bit of an air show was staged at the weekend. By contrast, once the much bigger 'Flying Circus' operators started up in the early 1930s, usually just a day was deemed sufficient to exploit the local interest at most venues, two days being justified only if large enough numbers could be pretty much guaranteed.
