We have just suffered 2hr solid of a plane over our house,

Reply from Dick Flute:
Dear Mr Ralph, I am very disappointed to hear this. Did you get the registration? What on earth was it doing? There is no excuse for this, especially in your location. When I was learning to fly, it was drummed into me that you should never linger over a particular location, and, as far as is reasonably possible, always avoid any habitation when flying at low level. And indeed, even today when doing air-to-ground photography. we rarely if ever spend more than a just few minutes circling around the subject site. My best regards, Dick

This airstrip would be perfect for visiting friends in Hastings. Unfortunately, I don't know whom to call for PPR and instructions. I did find a phone number on another website (for Crystal Air Maint), but that doesn't seem to be working anymore. Any chance you could help out? Greetings from a Dutch pilot

Reply from Dick Flute:
Hi Sandra, I'm afraid I cannot help you here, as my 'Guide' is basically historical. This said I am somewhat surprised you are having this difficulty. It might be 'a long shot' but it might be worth contacting the nearest airfields you can find, including gliding sites, and see if anybody can help. Have you tried: 0044 (0)1424 870 899? Best regards, Dick
