Note:  All four of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  W of the A173, S of the A171, just SW of Pinchinthorpe village, 3nm WSW of Guisborough town centre and about 6nm SE of Middlesborough town centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to -

Runway(s):  This is rather interesting looking at the Google Earth © pictures. And really quite unusual.

In the 2001 picture it appears it was:   10/28   310   grass

However, the 2008 picture appears to show three possible strips, all parallel to each other. The strips to the N and S being 345 metres long. The northernmost seeming to be the better defined strip.

2018:   10/28   450   grass

NOTES:   I have to thank Mr Karel Adams, a great friend of this 'Guide' for pointing this site out in September 2020. As always, if anybody can kindly offer more advice, this will be most welcome.

Later I was told by Mr Graham Frost, another great friend of this 'Guide', that the Luton LA5 Major G-ARAD, was registered to this address from 18.01.95 until 16.10.02. As has been the Piper L5A Cub Cruiser, G-BRIL (ex N35183), from the 28th November 2007.
