Note: This map only shows my guess as to the position of the site used, after comparing the picture with Google Earth. Needless to say appearances often change, sometimes quite dramatically, so any advice on this matter will be most welcome.

NOTES: I have Alan Faupel to thank for information on this site, and the picture. It appears that St MARY'S ISLAND, situated within the Royal Navy Chatham Docks, was used by Royal Navy helicopters during the annual 'Navy Days' events until 1982.
