STAINES: Temporary aerodrome?

Location: Chertsey Lane in/near Staines

Period of operation: 8th October 1933

 

NOTES: This was the last and 158th venue for the No.1 Tour that year. In 1934 the Cobham UK Tour also visited STAINES on the 29^th September, (the 155^th venue), before ending the tour at MAYLANDS in ESSEX the following day. In 1935 Cobham’s No.1 Tour also visited STAINES on the 5^th September. But, did they always use the same site?

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
