Period of operation:  In 2025 this appears to be a new airstrip

Runway:  04/22    600 (max)     grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a long term friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome. Pictures are always appreciated.

Standhill Farm is now well known for pioneering new and progressive techniques in horticulture, not least for growing tomatoes - in Scotland! When I was a lad around seventy years ago, tomato production in the UK was centred around the Channel Islands, Gurnsey especially. Gurnsey of course having a fully fledged airport. So, I wonder, is this new airstrip available to visitors?
