Taking a quick delve into the history of this helipad appears to reveal a major scandal going on? It was opened in 2020 but soon closed again for major uprating works in November 2023. Who is responsible for commissioning such major expense for a seriously sub-standard helipad seems impossible to determine, and no doubt nobody will be held to account?
The up-graded helipad was re-opened on the 10th February 2026, which is why in May 2026, I had no pictures from Google Earth© to illustrate the latest version.
