This appears to be the only remaining runway in 1999. Shortly after all traces are gone.
Operated by: 1992: F Stops & Sons
Location: S & W side of A6, just NW of Kibworth Harcourt, roughly 7nm SE of Leicester city centre
Period of operation: Possibly from the1960s to 1990s certainly. Possibly until 2000?

Field One: 10/28 415 grass 12/30 415 grass 17/35 406 grass
Field Two: 12/30 415 grass 08/26 370 grass
NOTES: This is a most unusual if not unique situation. Two co-located sites with bisecting runways. Venue on several occassions for the International Auster Pilot Club meetings and home to the Auster J/1N Alpha G-AJAE.

In March 2023 Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', who discovered this picture. And, also informs us that the Taylorcraft Plus D Special, G-AHCR (ex LB352), was registered to Mr Michael G Stops at this address from 22.01.64 until 11.09.65.
