NOTES: As a general rule this 'Guide' does not list many private helipads, but this quite magnificent site seems to warrant an exception.

I get sick and tired of ignorant so called experts and politicians banging on about how the north of England is deprived of resources. It never has been - they have had superior road networks long before we had them around London. I won't argue that they have many deprived areas, mostly a legacy of the failed industrial era, but, if you travel around the region, the majority of people are doing really quite well.

Not least because property prices are so much lower. Which has led to so many very wealthy people taking advantage - and why not?

In the much longer term, there seems to be no reason why the region will continue to prosper for many, once the effects of Brextit have worn away? Or am I being too optomistic?
