Location:  Just NW of Newtownstewart, about 6.25nm SSE of Strabane town centre

Period of operation: Unknown? Perhaps from around 2020

Runway:  02/20   450   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a long term friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. It appears that the Vans RV-7, G-CKTX, has been based here. At least until 2025. This aircraft built by the owner was registered on 13.11.2017. But, with home-built aircraft especially, the date of registration can be years before the first flight. In this case it seems that the airstrip was being laid out whilst G-CKTX was still being built? Interesting to note that the runway in the 2020 picture above was later extended.

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome, and pictures are always appreciated.
