Location: About 1nm NNW of Bosbury, roughly 4.5nm NNW of Ledbury
Period of operation: 1980s to -
Runway: 2013: 07/25 510 grass
NOTES: I often bang on in this 'Guide' about how the appearance of 'farm strips' can often change dramatically over the years and also depending on the season and the crops grown in nearby fields. As the pictures above show, this airstrip does not appear much affected. Also, compared with some others, it has remained unaltered over a long period.
If anybody can kindly offer more information and advice about this airstrip, this will be most welcome.
In response, Mr Graham Frost who is a great friend of this 'Guide', has pointed out that the very rare DH60GM Gipsy Moth, built by Curtiss under licence and registered as NC939M from the 1930s, has since been imported, re-registered as G-AADR, and has been based here since June 1986.
