Location: J N of the B3414, just E of Bishopstow village, about 1.75nm ESE of Warminster town centre
Period of operation: 1986 (?) to 1993?
NOTES: There is ample evidence that Mr L J Rice operated the de Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth G-AOJK, (ex R4896), here from the 28th November 1986 until 24.06.88. Also, the de Havilland DH87B Hornet Moth G-ADSK, (ex AV952 during WW2), from 20.08.93 until 18.10.93 - just three months! Did he own another between these times?
We do not know exactly where the strip was, so, any advice and information will be most welcome.
