LISBURN: Military dispersal airfield   (Perhaps a RLG too?)

Note: Both of these pictures (2018) were obtained from Google Earth.

Although I have had this site listed for many years, the exact location was provided on the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust web-site. Which has proved to be immensely helpful.

Military user: RAF Bomber Command?

Location: Just NW of Lisburn town centre.

Period of operation: Early WW2 only?

NOTES: Apparently used by a Flight of 226 Sqdn (Fairey Battles), also 88 Sqdn (Battles) in June 1941. If anybody can kindly add more information, this will be most welcome.
