  Operated by:   Mr George H C B Kirke   (G H Kirke Ltd)

Location: Just NW of RAF BINBROOK, 1nm NE of Thoresway, 5nm E of Caistor, 6nm NE of Market Rasen and about 9nm SSW to SW of Grimsby town centre

Period of operation: Possibly 1975 to1993?

NOTES:  There is a slender field immediately SW of Croxby, and what I assume is Croxby Hall, orientated SW/NE which appears ideal for an airstrip up to 1000 metres in length. But, was this where the airstrip was located? If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.

In 2022, Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', tells us that the Reims Cessna F172M G-BCUF was based here. This aircraft was registered to Mr George H C B Kirke from 03.07.75 to 20.05.83. Thereafter to G H Kirke Ltd from 20.5.83 to 24.02.93. As Croxby Hall is the address given, it seems reasonable to suppose that the strip existed between these dates?
