Leeds heliports

Note: This map shows to location of the first entry listed below.

LEEDS HELIPORT: Civil Heliport

Operated by: 2000: Heli-Jet Aviation

Location: Adjacent to A658, 0.75nm N of YEADON/LEEDS-BRADFORD AIRPORT

Landing area: Concrete pad 100x30m, comprising three helipads

LEEDS HELIPORT: Civil Heliport

NOTES: I was intrigued to discover on a modern road map another site listed as LEEDS HELIPORT situated just N of the A64, about 6.5nm NE of Leeds city centre and 10nm ESE of YEADON/LEEDS-BRADFORD airport. Hmmmm? This site is incidentally close to the WW1 Landing Ground known as WINN MOOR.

Maps can take many years to be updated, but if the same used in the 1980s (?), operated by Heli Leeds.
