Note:  The first two pictures were kindly sent by Mr Graham Frost and are credited to Mr Ewan Brown

The third and fourth pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  E of the B786 and 1.5nm WSW of Bridge of Weir on the A761

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to -

Landing area:   The fourth picture shows a line which I think might be the longest landing run, which is:

NW/SE   325   grass

NOTES:  In 2022 Graham Frost discovered that the Beagle/Auster A.61 Terrier 2, G-ASOI, was being operated here from 06.02.92 until 03.12.03 by the Ranfurly Aero Club. This aircraft was an Auster AOP.10, WJ404, operated by the Army Air Corps. When converted for civil use it first wore the provisional markings - G-35-11. Which, I suppose (?), indicated it was a prototype Beagle Terrier?
